The role involves building robust, fault-tolerant, low footprint sensor software for various Linux environments, such as Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat Enterprise, both on cloud and on-premises.
Responsibilities include designing and writing high-quality, high-performance code in a multi-threaded/multi-process environment and improving the performance of existing sensor software.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of working experience or a Master’s/PhD with 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity-related fields is required.
Familiarity with at least two programming languages from Python, C/C++, Shell script, Go, Ruby, or Java is necessary.
Knowledge of network protocols such as VXLAN, ICMP, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, and HTTP is essential.
Experience in performance tuning on Linux systems is required.
Experience with Network IDS, IPS, and Network Security Monitoring engines like Suricata is a plus.
Experience in agent development on Windows systems, including software packaging, installation, and upgrade, is a plus.
Familiarity with GPO or SCCM-based software deployment is a plus.
Candidates should be great team players with a can-do attitude and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
Excellent verbal, writing, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
Startup working experience is a plus.
