Latitude AI is an automated driving technology company developing a hands-free, eyes-off driver assist system for next-generation Ford vehicles at scale.
The State Estimation team focuses on multi-object tracking, scene estimation, and machine learning technology.
The team develops advanced Bayesian filters, graph models, and deep learning models for tracking static and dynamic actors and estimating road features.
Responsibilities include developing machine learning models and algorithms for multi-object tracking, state estimation, and uncertainty estimation.
The role involves transitioning solutions from the lab to the test track and public roads for production-level implementation.
Collaboration with perception experts and roboticists on algorithm design, prototyping, testing, deployment, and productization is essential.
The position requires building and maintaining industry-leading software practices and developing clean and efficient software for perception modules.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, or a PhD.
Relevant knowledge and experience in machine learning, with a proven track record of developing and deploying deep learning solutions using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Experience in developing multi-object tracking systems using classical or machine learning algorithms.
Strong experience in deep learning, Bayesian filtering, and optimization algorithms is required.
Proven experience in shipping perception software products to industry or consumers is necessary.
At least 4 years of development experience in a Python/C++ environment is required.
A Ph.D. with a machine learning focus or equivalent experience is a plus.
Experience in developing and deploying temporal computer vision models is also desirable.
