Remote Senior Software Engineer, Prediction

Description:

• Latitude AI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Prediction team to design and build systems for autonomous vehicles to understand and predict the behavior of surrounding objects.
• The role involves implementing algorithms and models for real-time prediction, measuring prediction quality, ensuring safe handling of driving events, evaluating system performance, and improving software reliability.
• The position requires collaboration with different teams, monitoring system performance, and staying within resource constraints.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field with 4+ years of experience (or Master's degree with 2+ years, or PhD).
• Proficiency in modern C++ and Python, with knowledge in probabilistic inference, probability theory, and statistics.
• Experience in Machine Learning for classification, regression, and time series forecasting.
• Familiarity with PyTorch, ONNX, and model deployment/optimization is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, industry experience in writing production-quality code, and maintaining large codebases are desired.
