Description:

Rialtic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with extensive software engineering experience to join their Engines & Data team, which is responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of healthcare policy engines.
The role involves building new engines and implementing new architectures for enhanced functionality, while collaborating closely with software engineers and data scientists.
Candidates must be located within the US and work EST hours; Rialtic cannot sponsor or transfer visas at this time.
The position requires a customer-first, quality-oriented mindset and involves working with large volumes of data to perform complex analyses quickly and accurately.
Core responsibilities include designing and improving Python packages, collaborating with cross-functional teams, serving as a technical lead, and participating in stakeholder discussions to understand business logic and requirements.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of hands-on experience as a software developer in a professional environment, specifically with production systems.
A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Python applications, including dependency management and commonly used libraries in data science and predictive analytics, is required.
Relevant experience in data science and predictive analytics, including model selection and maintenance, is necessary.
Strong capabilities in testing and test automation are essential.
Experience as a technical lead in completing software projects is required.
Proficiency in shell scripting, Git, and continuous integration workflows/pipelines is needed.
Candidates should have experience with SQL or similar query tools, building and debugging data-rich applications, and familiarity with AWS.
Strong listening and interpersonal skills are important, along with a willingness to learn and improve.
