The position is for a Senior Software Engineer (React + Python), which is a remote role available in Argentina, Brazil, or Colombia.
Responsibilities include understanding the product and engineering roadmap, acting as a subject matter expert on infrastructure and platform capabilities, and working with the Product Owner to vet requirements.
The engineer will participate in application design and development activities, identify opportunities for system improvements, and implement enhancements following modern development principles.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject is required.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software development.
A minimum of 4 years of experience as a full-stack developer is necessary.
The ability to collaborate with team members of varying skills and experience levels is essential.
Strong communication skills are required for this position.

The ability to foster a positive team environment is important.
Candidates should also have the ability to mentor junior team members.

The position offers the opportunity to leverage skills in programming languages such as Python and React.
Engineers will work with AWS services including Athena, S3, Redshift, ECS, RDS, Lambda, and Step Functions.
Experience with frameworks like Flask, Tornado, and Django will be utilized.
The role involves working in an Agile software environment, including Scrum, TDD, continuous integration, and automated testing.
Engineers will also have the chance to work with data tools such as Pandas, Numpy, and Airflow.
