Remote Senior Software Engineer, Route Success

Description:

• Veho is a post-purchase experience company focused on enhancing e-commerce logistics.
• The Route Success engineering team is responsible for the systems that support driver partners in the final mile of logistics.
• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build tools that enhance the driver experience on the Veho platform.
• You will work on geo spatial projects and data-driven tools for drivers to facilitate deliveries.
• Responsibilities include architecting, building, testing, and deploying applications for the driver experience.
• You will modify designs of complex microservice applications and participate in peer code reviews.
• Collaboration with technical and non-technical users, engineers, data scientists, and product managers is essential.
• You will analyze code and system risks, providing recommendations for efficient technology use.
• Working with Product and Design teams to confirm requirements and prioritize new features is part of the role.
• You will also integrate data science insights into product offerings.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in building, testing, and deploying applications in high-traffic production environments is required.
• At least 4 years of experience in software development using Javascript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React is necessary.
• The candidate should be a self-starter who enjoys taking initiative and collaborating on complex challenges.
• A strong enthusiasm for working with data science, product, and operations teams to solve unique problems is expected.
• Familiarity with AWS, TypeScript, Node.js, and React is essential.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• A solid software development background, including serverless patterns and test-driven development, is necessary.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential.
