Description:
- Implement an industry-leading API that has processed over USD50 billion of cross-border transactions
- Work on a microservices architecture using Ruby, Java, RabbitMQ, Redis, MySQL/Aurora, Spring Framework, and Kafka
- Collaborate with the Party Management team to shape the future architecture of the client data model
- Work on highly scalable, cloud-native applications following 12-factor principles
- Use tools like Docker, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, log management systems, and Datadog APM
- Develop API specifications conforming to the OpenAPI standard
- Write code in Ruby, Java, Scala, and Elixir
- Utilize SQL databases for persistence layer
- Participate in infrastructure automation using AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and ArgoCD
- Implement testing approaches like TDD, BDD, and Contract Testing
- Work in an Agile environment with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and advocate for continuous improvement
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with Ruby
- Proficiency in Redis, RabbitMQ, MySQL/Aurora
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
- Nice to have: Some Java experience
- Nice to have: Exposure to Kafka or similar event streaming tooling
