Remote Senior Software Engineer- Security Workflows

Description:

• As a Senior Software Engineer in the Security Workflows team at Semgrep, you will be responsible for building customer-facing integrations to help application security teams prioritize, triage, and remediate vulnerabilities at scale.
• You will collaborate with product managers and other engineers to create security tools that enhance customer experiences and help teams fix vulnerabilities efficiently.
• The role involves learning about the application-security space, mentoring junior developers, architecting systems for storing sensitive data, and providing users with insights to understand their security posture.
• Responsibilities include working on major product initiatives end-to-end, setting technical and product direction, advocating for intuitive APIs, ensuring high-availability operation of services, and mentoring other engineers.
• Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years of experience in writing production software and building web applications, proficiency in Python, Javascript, and Postgres, excitement about solving customer problems, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience writing production software and building web applications using Python, Javascript, and Postgres
• Excitement about building for customers, learning their needs, iterating fast, and solving core problems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
