Description:

Mysten Labs is focused on creating foundational infrastructure to accelerate the adoption of decentralized protocols based on blockchain technologies.
The Senior Software Engineer will join the Sui Core team, responsible for building the Sui blockchain's infrastructure.
The role involves developing software that powers Sui's validators and full nodes, ensuring the safety-critical core of the Sui network.
The engineer will enhance the performance and reliability of the Sui blockchain infrastructure and contribute to core protocol design.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining the core blockchain network software, optimizing existing systems, and collaborating with other teams to integrate new features and technologies.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in systems and network programming, ideally in C++ or Rust.
Experience is required in designing and operating systems in areas such as distributed systems, consensus protocols, storage/database systems, high-performance systems, networking protocols, or programming languages and compilers.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is necessary.
Proven ability to drive complex projects to completion is essential.
