We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Senior Software Engineer Tech Lead who thrives in the dynamic world of SaaS.
This role requires a hands-on technical leader who will drive engineering excellence and not just move tickets.
The position involves leading by example in all areas of software development.
Responsibilities include deploying maintainable and scalable code using the .NET stack and AWS with high productivity.
The candidate will collaborate in moving monolithic legacy solutions to modern event-driven microservices.
The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
The candidate will bring new ideas and innovations to improve the overall software architecture and processes for the Accounting domain and all of engineering.
Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications is a key responsibility.
The candidate will foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team by providing technical mentorship.
Safeguarding the confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary company and customer information is essential.
The candidate is expected to uphold and promote Patriot’s Core Values through positive interactions with internal stakeholders and team members.
Requirements:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
The candidate must have 8+ years of professional full stack software development experience with strong proficiency in the .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core), UI skills, and attention to detail.
A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience as a tech lead, mentoring less experienced engineers in best practices, guiding engineering decisions, and providing solutions to complicated problems is necessary.
Experience in moving from monolithic legacy solutions to modern event-driven microservices is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is needed.
Extensive experience with event-driven microservices architecture is essential.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is required.
Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the Vue.js framework is necessary.
The candidate should be willing to propose innovative solutions, even if they’re outside of the proposed tech stack or established patterns.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively are required.
