Remote Senior Software Engineer, Transportation (Fullstack)

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for building tooling to simplify tracking packages through the transportation network.
• They will work on greenfield projects to optimize package scheduling, trucking, and volume allocation.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop high-impact architectural solutions and hands-on development.
• Involvement in all stages of software development including inception, design, execution, and delivery.
• Analyzing code, system risks, and software reliability to provide recommendations for technology optimization.
• Working closely with Product and Design teams to confirm requirements and prioritize new features.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in building, testing, and deploying applications in high traffic production environments.
• Proficiency in Javascript, Node.js, and React with at least 4 years of experience.
• Ability to take initiative, work collaboratively on challenging projects, and move quickly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical education and work experience.
• Strong background in software development, including serverless patterns, data structures, and test-driven development.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
