Remote Senior Software Engineer, VRF & Capital Markets

Description:

• Chainlink Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on VRF & Capital Markets.
• The company is a primary contributing developer of Chainlink, a decentralized computing platform used for providing access to real-world data, offchain computation, and secure cross-chain interoperability.
• The Engineering Team at Chainlink Labs focuses on pushing the scale and capabilities of decentralized applications in the industry.
• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with experienced technical teams to build highly scalable, secure, and reliable software that will impact smart contracts at a fundamental level.
• Responsibilities include designing and implementing new features within the core services offering VRF, building a new API for companies to connect to the Cross Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), and managing the architectural vision for new subsystems in the core Chainlink node.
• The role offers the opportunity to learn about blockchain technology, develop core products with Smart Contracts using Solidity, and work on resilient distributed systems in various blockchain environments.

Requirements:

• At least 7+ years of professional software development experience is required.
• Experience in Golang or any other strongly-typed programming language is preferred.
• A B.S. or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience in developing web applications/services and backend APIs.
• Knowledge of systems design concepts and interest in blockchain and other Web 3.0 technologies are essential.
• Comfort and/or experience working as a remote employee as part of a distributed team is a requirement.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to write clearly are important for this role.
