Remote Senior Solution Architect

Description:

• Capital Technology Group (CTG) is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to modernize and innovate software delivery for the federal government.
• The role involves a hands-on approach in the development and implementation of solutions, with a focus on driving development and runtime analysis for optimal performance.
• The Senior Solution Architect will support operations across multiple environments, ensuring system reliability and availability.
• This position requires proactive identification of technical challenges and effective solutions, overseeing the execution of the technical approach for the work stream.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree is required for this position.
• Candidates must have 11+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, ReactJS, Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, or related languages is essential.
• Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries, as well as back-end languages and JavaScript frameworks, is necessary.
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), web servers (e.g., Apache, Jenkins), and UI/UX design is required.
• Candidates must be able to quickly adapt to new projects and technologies.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Leadership and people management experience is required, with the ability to provide direction to less senior team members.
• A demonstrated interest in learning new systems and technology quickly is necessary.
• Candidates should be able to discuss technical tasks and team processes with team members and external stakeholders.

Nice to Have Skills:

• A background in Python and an interest in DevOps are preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD, AWS, and Docker/Kubernetes is advantageous.
