Description:
The Senior Solution Design Architect, Customer Engagement (Marketing Technology) will report to the Manager, Solution Design Architecture (Marketing Technology).
This role involves driving clarity and workflow efficiencies for the marketing technology engineering program, leadership, and outside stakeholders.
The architect will serve as the subject matter expert of B2B customer engagement within the marketing technology stack.
Responsibilities include architecting and maintaining a best-in-class marketing technology stack to support Customer Success business initiatives, anchored around CDP (Segment) and Customer Success Software (PlanHat).
The position requires understanding how different parts of the business model work together, including operating systems and application architectures.
The architect will define, establish, and enforce self-service democratization of holistic customer and consumer marketing persona profiles within the marketing technology platform(s).
The role includes developing and managing audience targeting standards and best practices.
Collaboration with cross-functional project teams is essential, guiding projects from requirements definition to rollout in an understandable way for stakeholders and partners.
The architect will contribute to thought leadership by developing best practices, sharing knowledge in team sessions, and maintaining thorough documentation.
Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and development teams is also a key responsibility.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5 or more years of experience in implementing and managing customer engagement solutions and marketing technology integrations.
A deep understanding of MarTech platforms, customer success tools, CDPs, and/or CRM systems is required.
Proven experience in designing and implementing B2B-centric MarTech solutions is essential.
A strong technical background within software or data engineering functions is preferred.
Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, and prior advisory experience relevant to industry-specific business and technology functions is necessary.
Strong interpersonal skills are required to work with various personality types across cross-functional teams.
Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
A passion for organization, simplicity, efficiency, and action is important.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills that build trust and positively influence partners and teammates are essential.
