Description:
The Senior Solutions Architect at GitLab will be responsible for providing technical expertise to customers during the pre-sales process, both onsite and remotely.
They will collaborate with the sales team to formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue targets through the adoption of GitLab.
The Solutions Architect will be the Directly Responsible Individual on Technical Close Plans and technical evaluations, owning POC/POV, tender/audit support, and workshop design.
Building deep relationships with customers to enable them to be GitLab advocates will be a key aspect of the role.
The Solutions Architect will serve as the customer advocate to other GitLab teams, including Product Development, Sales, and Marketing.
Maintaining specialty competency in technologies related to GitLab’s market focus and educating customers on the value proposition of GitLab will be essential.
Continuous improvement of professional skills through training, reading, and seeking mentorship will be encouraged.
Running Value Stream Assessments in the account with the support of a Senior SA leading the engagement will also be part of the responsibilities.
Requirements:
Experience with technical pre-sales or in the field of information technology is required.
Familiarity with modern software development or operations and their associated technologies is necessary.
Knowledge of cloud computing and related technologies and practices is essential.
Understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle is a must.
Proficiency in continuous integration and continuous deployment is required.
Ability to use GitLab is necessary.
Willingness to travel if needed and comply with the company’s travel policy is a requirement.
