Description:

• GitLab is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect specializing in the telecommunications sector for the DACH region.
• The role involves engaging with customers to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process and adopting a consultancy role.
• Solutions Architects are responsible for driving and managing technology evaluations and validations during the sales process.
• The position requires collaboration with the sales team to formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue targets.
• The Solutions Architect will be the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) on Technical Close Plans and technical evaluations.
• Building deep relationships with customers to enable them to become GitLab advocates is essential.
• The role includes serving as the customer advocate to other GitLab teams, including Product Development, Sales, and Marketing.
• Maintaining specialty competency in technologies related to GitLab’s market focus is required.
• The Solutions Architect will educate customers on the value proposition of GitLab and ensure successful deployment.
• Continuous professional development and running Value Stream Assessments in accounts are also part of the role.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience with technical pre-sales or as a professional in the field of information technology.
• Experience with modern software development or operations and their associated technologies is required.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and related technologies and practices is necessary.
• A strong understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle is essential.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment is required.
• Candidates should be able to travel if needed and comply with the company’s travel policy.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the telecommunications industry is mandatory.
• A strong understanding of network management, telco operations, and regional regulatory frameworks is required.
• Fluency in both German and English is essential.
