Remote Senior Solutions Engineer

Description:

• As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Venafi, you will be part of a highly skilled team that protects many of the world’s largest organizations.
• You will work within the Jetstack Consult team, a Cloud Native professional service team that assists startups and enterprises in adopting Kubernetes and Cloud Native technologies.
• Your role involves architecting, designing, and implementing Kubernetes-based solutions for customers, both onsite and remotely.
• You will deliver Kubernetes training and workshops to various audiences, showcasing the potential of Kubernetes and related technologies.
• You will collaborate on customer-facing projects, solving technical issues and determining the best approach for new assignments.
• You will coach and mentor less experienced team members and proactively communicate your plans, progress, and challenges to colleagues.
• Building alignment with other technical teams as needed is also part of your responsibilities.

Requirements:

• You should have a proven track record of helping customers succeed, ideally in an enterprise setting.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
• Advanced knowledge and skills with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud technologies are required.
• An interest in working with cutting-edge technology in fast-growing open-source communities is important.
• You must be able to adapt to circumstances and respond with urgency and pragmatism.
• Involvement in designing cloud architecture and strategy is a plus.
• Expertise in software development or platform engineering will set you apart.
• Enthusiasm and involvement with the Kubernetes, container, and CNCF ecosystems are highly valued.
• Experience in owning and/or supporting day two operations for production platforms is beneficial.
