Description:

The Senior SRE Engineer will own and scale the Kubernetes infrastructure for a crypto wallet used by millions of people.
This role involves managing mission-critical systems and optimizing performance to support a cutting-edge Web3 crypto wallet.
The engineer will ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency across the infrastructure.
Responsibilities include managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
The engineer will implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or Pulumi for automation of infrastructure provisioning and management.
Performance optimization will be a key task, including monitoring and optimizing system performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
The role requires configuring and maintaining crypto nodes across multiple blockchains to support wallet operations.
The engineer will optimize and scale database infrastructure to efficiently handle terabytes of blockchain data.
Continuous improvement of system uptime, monitoring, and observability using tools like Datadog and OpenTelemetry is expected.
Collaboration with backend and product teams to support feature development and system scaling is essential.
This position is fully remote, but candidates must be based in the US, EU, or UK time zones.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in an SRE or Software Engineer role.
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) in production environments is required.
Proficiency with AWS infrastructure and services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM is necessary.
Solid experience with Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi is essential.
Monitoring and observability experience using tools like Datadog or OpenTelemetry is required.
