Health Care Informed (HCI) is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer for a fully remote position based in Ireland, with options for office or hybrid work.
The role involves shaping a new compliance product that has gained early traction in the market, focusing on improving patient safety and quality care.
As one of the first engineering hires, you will have a high impact on the product's future and will be responsible for architecting and building features end-to-end.
You will have direct input into product decisions and help shape the technical direction of the team.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in software engineering across multiple languages or frameworks is required.
Strong backend and frontend skills are necessary, with experience in building scalable APIs and event-driven architectures; familiarity with C# and React is a plus but not mandatory.
Cloud experience is ideal, particularly with Azure, though AWS or GCP experience is also valued.
Demonstrated impact in solving team- or group-level challenges is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and articulating complex technical ideas simply.
A strong sense of curiosity and ownership is required, with a desire to propose new ideas and drive continuous improvement, particularly in exploring AI benefits for users.
