The position is part of the Intelligent Systems team, which focuses on converting photons into understanding through computer vision and machine learning.
Responsibilities include collaborating with perception experts to build scalable solutions, architecting and implementing state-of-the-art solutions in various domains such as sensing, machine learning, mapping, labeling, state estimation, localization, calibration, and performance.
The role requires developing production-quality software in a fast-paced, highly autonomous environment while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Robotics, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have significant (10+ years) prior experience in one or more relevant domains related to autonomous vehicles.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in C++ or Python software development is necessary.
A proven track record of product development culminating in successful launches or releases is essential.
A Master's degree plus 8 years of experience or a PhD plus 5 years of experience in Robotics, ECE, Computer Science, or a related field is considered a plus.
Experience in technical leadership, taking products or large features from research to consumer release, is also desirable.
