Remote Senior UI Engineer

Description:

• The Senior UI Engineer at Daxko will primarily focus on front-end web development using React based frameworks.
• Responsibilities include developing high-quality applications to provide a delightful user experience, writing clean and maintainable code, and creating responsive, cross-platform solutions.
• The role involves developing, debugging, and modifying software components, writing automated tests, and supporting data/system issues.
• The Senior UI Engineer will also provide feedback in code reviews, lead design reviews, participate in user story creation, guide team members in prototype development, and mentor team members in the software development process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Applied Sciences, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of Software Engineering or relevant experience.
• Proficiency in React, building mobile-first, responsive websites, using Git, CSS preprocessors, Node.js, NPM or yarn, Agile development, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience in writing unit, automated, and integration tests, understanding modern cloud architecture, and a passion for Front End Development.
• Mastery of HTML, CSS, Javascript, modern Javascript frameworks, and browser features/limitations.
• Ability to mentor and develop team members.
