The Senior UX Researcher will join the Midnight Tribe, a business technology provider and core contributor to the Midnight Network, which develops decentralized applications that protect personal and commercial data.
The role involves leading end-to-end research initiatives to understand customer and user needs for privacy-preserving products.
The Senior UX Researcher will collaborate with Product, Marketing, Developer Relations, and Engineering teams to represent the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities include defining research goals, conducting mixed-methods research, translating findings into actionable insights, building research frameworks, and championing a culture of user advocacy.
The researcher will also evaluate ethical and privacy implications of research activities and contribute to the evolution of Midnight’s research operations.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Design, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on UX research experience in blockchain, Web3, SaaS, or complex technical domains is necessary.
A passion for Web3, data protection solutions, and understanding the implications for user research is essential.
Expertise in planning and executing end-to-end research projects that influence product and design outcomes is required.
Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, with the ability to select the appropriate method for each question, is necessary.
Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams is required.
The candidate must be able to distill complex concepts into clear narratives and visualizations.
Ability to manage multiple work streams and work with research tools like Dovetail, Miro, Figma, UserTesting, or equivalent is essential.
Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including storytelling and presenting insights, are required.
The candidate should be curious, humble, and open to new perspectives in a fast-evolving space, motivated to understand complex scenarios and user needs.
