Description:

• Ethena Labs is building the first crypto-based reward-accruing synthetic dollar protocol.
• The team has deep experience in traditional finance and crypto engineering from various firms.
• They are creating derivative infrastructure to transform Ethereum into the Internet Bond through delta-neutral derivatives positions.
• The goal is to develop the first crypto-native, rewards-bearing savings asset called sUSDe.
• The team is working on a broader ecosystem of products including fixed and floating rate internet bonds and composable repo leveraged markets.
• The ideal candidate should be in one of the time zones: EST, GMT, CET, EEST.
• The team consists of 16 members, with 8 engineers, having a mix of Web3 and Tradfi experience.
• They are geographically distributed but connect daily and have distinct responsibilities.
• The team is collaborative, lean, and focused on bringing disruptive products like USDe and Internet Bond to the market.

Requirements:

• Passion for building products/applications within Defi.
• Excitement to join a founding core team and drive a product from zero to one.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in developing for decentralized applications with prior work examples.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new concepts at the intersection of frontier technology and financial concepts.
• Experience with modern software development practices, writing clean, modular, and testable code.
• Knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented programming concepts, algorithms, and complexities.
• Strong Python skills and experience with GraphQL.
• Familiarity with frameworks like NextJS and TailwindCSS, Web3 libraries and tools, React, Typescript, caching, edge functions, and RPC providers.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
