Remote Senior Web3 Engineer - Frontend

Description:

• Ethena Labs is seeking a Senior Web3 Engineer - Frontend to work on building the first crypto-based reward-accruing synthetic dollar protocol.
• The ideal candidate should be passionate about developing stunning and intuitive products within Defi and excited to drive a newly launched product forward.
• Responsibilities include working on React/NextJS frontend, ETL jobs, off-chain backend python infrastructure, collaborating with custody and exchange providers, and pushing the boundaries of Defi design.
• The team is geographically distributed but connects daily, providing engineer onboarding support and fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements:

• Experience with modern software development practices, writing clean, modular, and testable code.
• Knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented programming concepts, and strong proficiency in modern Javascript, React, and Typescript.
• Demonstrated experience with GraphQL, NextJS, TailwindCSS, and Web3 libraries like Viem, Wagmi, The Graph.
• Understanding of caching, edge functions, RPC providers, and other critical concepts for performant frontend development in Web3.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
