Corra, a Publicis Sapient company, is seeking a Shopify Technical Lead to join their team in India.
The role involves working with project and support teams to deliver high-quality development services for clients.
The Shopify Technical Lead will manage new ecommerce projects from initial business development and discovery phases through to implementation and deployment.
Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing existing Shopify Plus ecommerce websites while adhering to best practices.
The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and participation in Scrum and Sprint planning calls.
The lead will create high-level technical design documentation and perform code reviews before deployment.
The role demands a detailed technical understanding of assigned projects and technical ownership of multiple projects.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of ecommerce experience specifically with Shopify Plus.
Expertise in Shopify front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid is required.
A strong understanding of the deployment process, including handling the pipeline and release process, is essential.
Proficiency in ES6 and React JS is necessary.
Candidates should have expert knowledge of REST and GraphQL APIs.
Good to have skills include working knowledge of Typescript and Tailwind CSS, as well as experience with Shopify Hydrogen app and Shopify Checkout extensions.
Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, SEO, and custom data layer event implementation best practices is preferred.
Experience in migrating existing commerce sites to the Shopify platform and knowledge of Shopify 2.0 is advantageous.
Proficiency with code versioning tools like Bitbucket, GitHub, or GitLab is also beneficial.
Solid knowledge of page speed optimizations and ADA compliance best practices is a plus.
