Description:
Corra, a Publicis Sapient company, is seeking a Shopify Plus Technical Lead to join their team in Canada.
The Technical Lead will collaborate with project and support teams to deliver high-quality development services for clients.
Responsibilities include working on new ecommerce projects from initial business development and discovery phases through to implementation and deployment.
The role also involves maintaining and enhancing existing Shopify Plus ecommerce websites while adhering to best practices.
The Technical Lead will participate in requirements gathering, provide technical suggestions, and contribute to Scrum and Sprint planning calls.
They will create high-level technical design documentation and perform code reviews before deployment, offering technical feedback to engineers.
The position requires a detailed technical understanding of assigned projects and ownership of multiple projects.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5+ years of ecommerce web development experience is required.
Shopify Plus experience is mandatory.
Expertise in Shopify Liquid template language and Shopify APIs is essential.
Candidates should have working knowledge of REST API and expertise in GraphQL.
Experience in Custom Shopify App development and Shopify Theme development is necessary.
Proven knowledge of Admin API and Storefront API is required.
A background in product modeling and configuration via Shopify Admin is needed.
Understanding of Product, Discount, Inventory, Fulfillment, Order APIs, and their customizations is important.
Familiarity with Marketing Events, Discounts, Gift Cards, and their configurations in Shopify is required.
Experience with Shopify instance management and configuration is necessary.
Knowledge in data migration and synchronization between Shopify instances is essential.
Proficiency with code versioning/branching tools like Git/SVN is required.
Good knowledge of AJAX/JQuery is necessary.
Prior experience with product/customer/order import/export management is required.
Experience integrating with backend systems such as ERPs, WMS, OMS, etc., is essential.
Solid knowledge of performance improvement best practices is required.
