Description:

• The Site Reliability Engineer with Delivery: Deployments specialization at GitLab focuses on improving the delivery platform, release management tooling, and processes.
• Responsibilities include guaranteeing the GitLab Release Process, creating new tools for automating the release process, building new GitLab release features, and working with teams to implement solutions for quicker releases.
• The role involves creating frameworks for scalable code, enhancing code observability, collaborating with Infrastructure teams, communicating release schedules, developing monitoring and alerting systems, and optimizing process bottlenecks.

Requirements:

• Must have boundless curiosity and a demonstrable ability to learn.
• Experience working on large-scale systems is required.
• Proficiency in release processes, tooling, and different deployment strategies is essential.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes is a must.
• A strong background in application and systems observability is necessary.
