As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at BforeAI, you will be a critical part of the technology team, responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud infrastructure and applications.
Your expertise in Kubernetes, Networking, Security, Cloud environments, and database optimization will be essential for maintaining high-traffic, data-intensive systems.
The position is remote and can be based anywhere in the EMEA region.
Responsibilities include architecting, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters, driving performance improvements for database systems, developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), implementing monitoring and alerting systems, enforcing cloud security best practices, managing incident procedures, and collaborating with engineering teams.

Requirements:

Candidates should have 8+ years of experience in SRE, system administration, or similar roles.
Expertise in Kubernetes is required, including hands-on experience in cluster setup, management, and maintenance, with certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and/or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKSS).
Proficiency in database performance optimization and administration, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, is necessary.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible is required, with certifications preferred.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog is essential.
Experience with incident response tools like PagerDuty or OpsGenie is required.
Candidates should have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, ideally with architect-level certification from at least one provider.
Knowledge of secrets management tools such as Hashicorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager is necessary.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.
Candidates must be strong communicators with the ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary global teams.
RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) and/or RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) certification is preferred.
