Description:
Career Renew is recruiting for a Smart Contract Engineer position for one of its clients, requiring candidates to be based in the US or Canada.
The team consists of 25 experienced professionals from notable companies in crypto, finance, and tech, including Coinbase, dYdX, JP Morgan, and Google.
The company has raised $10M from prominent VC funds and has founders and executives from well-known blockchain networks.
The testnet was launched in late June with over 250 million transactions, and the mainnet is set to launch in Q3 2024.
The role involves deploying core EVM (Solidity) smart contracts and supporting the ecosystem while working closely with the CTO.
Responsibilities include deploying smart contracts for features like RWA tokenization and KYC attestations, integrating smart contract functions into core applications, and designing the architecture for a robust incentivized testnet campaign.
Within the first month, the engineer is expected to onboard, learn the existing code, and support companies with smart contract issues.
Within three months, the engineer should prepare code for audits, brainstorm new dApps, mentor junior engineers, and participate in hiring processes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in smart contract development, with at least one live deployed project on a mainnet EVM chain.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering is required.
Prior experience in leading a Web3 company is necessary.
Candidates must be based in the US or Canada.
Benefits:
The salary is competitive with top startups.
As an early employee, the position includes a standard engineering equity grant.
The role is fully remote, with the option to work from the NYC office at any time.
The company promotes minimal meetings, no product managers, and a single roadmap.
Full medical, dental, and vision benefits are provided.
Employees enjoy two all-expenses-paid offsites per year.
