Description:
As an Architect at Accela, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of our platforms, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.
You will lead the architectural design and development of both backend and frontend systems, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and UX/UI, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
You will design and implement robust, scalable Java backend services that integrate seamlessly with the frontend.
The position requires overseeing the development of front-end applications, emphasizing an excellent user experience.
You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are followed.
Conducting code reviews and contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools is part of your responsibilities.
You will participate in architectural discussions and provide input on design decisions, frameworks, and technology choices.
Ensuring that the architecture aligns with current and future business objectives, including security and legal requirements, is essential.
You will work with DevOps teams to optimize deployment processes, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Staying up to date with the latest trends in technology and recommending tools and practices to improve productivity and product quality is expected.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
You must have experience with full-stack development and a deep understanding of backend and frontend system interactions.
Proven experience as a Software Architect with a strong background in both backend and frontend development is necessary.
Expertise in Java backend development, including experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless architecture, is required.
Proficiency in frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, along with a deep understanding of modern web development practices, is essential.
A strong understanding of architectural patterns, principles, and best practices is required.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are required.
Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are essential.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools is required.
Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication, is necessary.
The ability to effectively negotiate with partners and stakeholders is required.
