The company is seeking a senior contractor for a 4+ month remote assignment with the potential to extend.
Candidates should possess the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience designing, architecting, and implementing microservices architecture.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in designing architecture is required.
Proficiency in Java and Springboot is mandatory.
Experience with app dependencies such as 3rd party restful calls, Kafka, Database, and Ping is desired but not required.
Experience developing applications on the Google Cloud Platform suite of products and services is desirable.
Candidates should have deep knowledge of software architecture in distributed systems.
The ability to conduct code reviews and mentor software engineers is necessary.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in developing cloud-native applications is required.
Experience in both front-end and back-end development is necessary, with deeper experience in backend development and familiarity with full-stack development.
Familiarity with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) is required.
Candidates should be familiar with the scrum process and Git.
Experience establishing CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery is necessary.
A background in professional services/consulting is preferred.
Strong communication skills are essential.
Candidates should be eager to work in a teamwork/collaborative environment.
