Description:

66degrees is seeking a senior contractor for a 21-week remote assignment, requiring 40 hours of work per week with the potential for extension.
The role involves designing, architecting, and implementing microservices architecture.
Candidates must have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in designing, architecting, and implementing microservices architecture.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing architecture is required.
Deep knowledge of software architecture in distributed systems is essential.
Candidates should be able to conduct code reviews and mentor software engineers.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing cloud-native applications is required.
Experience in both front-end and back-end development is necessary, with deeper experience in backend development and familiarity with full-stack development.
Proficiency in Java is required, along with proficiency in one of the following: JavaScript, Python, or Typescript.
Candidates must be proficient in developing applications on the Google Cloud Platform suite of products and services (or equivalent cloud), primarily with serverless architectures.
Familiarity with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) is required.
Candidates should be familiar with the scrum process and Git.
Experience in establishing CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery is necessary.
A background in professional services/consulting is preferred.
Strong communication skills are essential.
