Description:
Servus Credit Union is seeking a Software Developer II for the Workflow Experience Department.
The position is permanent, full-time, and remote, based in Edmonton, Alberta.
Responsibilities include applying DevOps, Agile, and continuous delivery practices.
The developer will analyze and identify solution options for simple to medium business needs with occasional direction.
They will design and document solutions, including Functional Designs (FDD) and Technical Designs (TDD) for projects or requests.
The role requires understanding the full-stack of the development environment and being self-sufficient.
The developer will translate technical designs into high-quality code and implement unit testing and performance testing.
They will manage competing priorities, provide support for team members, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Clear communication, both written and verbal, is essential, along with managing time and schedules effectively.
The developer will contribute to the Development COE Knowledge Base and share knowledge with peers.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in a development delivery role.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience with Power Platform, including PowerApps, Flow, and Dataverse, is required.
At least 2+ years of hands-on design and development experience using .NET (C#, SOAP, REST API, serviced components) is necessary.
Extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem is essential.
Experience customizing SharePoint lists and developing PowerApps models is required.
Candidates should be able to create business processes and custom connectors with Microsoft Flow.
A clear understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods is needed.
Proficiency in creating PowerShell scripts is required.
Knowledge of PowerApps and Flow licensing plans and features is necessary.
Strong .NET development experience and knowledge of REST and SOAP web services are required.
Candidates must assist in developing and enforcing policies for standardizing systems and software development.
Experience with Git and version control is necessary.
Candidates must be able to work within an Agile/Scrum environment and possess a growth mindset.
A post-secondary education in computer science or an IT-related discipline from an accredited institution is required.
