Remote Software Developer (m/f/d)

Description:

• Speexx is seeking a Software Developer to join their team, focusing on back-end and front-end development.
• The role involves using modern Java stack (Java 8 or later) for object-oriented programming, design patterns, Java Persistence API (JPA), and build automation with Maven.
• Experience with SQL databases such as Firebird, MySQL, or PostgreSQL is required.
• Front-end skills include HTML5, CSS3, UX/UI responsive web design, single-page applications, JavaScript, and front-end libraries/frameworks like Bootstrap, jQuery, Underscore, Backbone, and Handlebars.
• Proficiency in version control (Git) and IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ is necessary.
• Responsibilities include challenging existing work patterns, ensuring code quality, collaborating with the Product Management team, and participating in the entire development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• A university degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications is essential.
• Candidates should have extensive experience in both back-end and front-end development.
• Prior experience in an international environment and with SaaS products is preferred.
• Fluency in English is required for effective communication within the team.
