Remote Software Developer (Python)

Description:

• We are looking for a Python Developer to join our growing team.
• This project focuses on providing consumers with quality and affordable product protection options for their online purchases.
• The role primarily involves engaging with a web application built in Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, etc.
• The work is less about infrastructure and more around API and codebase design and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have knowledge of the Flask web framework.
• Experience working with microservices, including debugging and maintaining them, is required.
• Hands-on experience with Docker is necessary.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL is a must.
• Candidates should have knowledge of Python ORMs, preferably SQLAlchemy.
• Familiarity with AWS is required.
• Candidates should be familiar with Python linters and code formatting tools, such as Ruff and Black.
• Hands-on experience writing unit tests is essential.
• Optional: Experience in developing and supporting frontend applications using React is a plus.
• Optional: Experience with monitoring tools like Sentry and NewRelic is beneficial.
• Optional: Knowledge of Kubernetes is an advantage.
