Description:

• LivePerson is seeking a Software Development Engineer - II (Web) to join their team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, with remote work options available.

• The role involves owning the design and implementation of significant portions of product development and maintaining existing web applications.
• Responsibilities include coordinating with engineers to integrate backend APIs, collaborating with UX teams and Product Management to optimize user experience, and developing technical specifications and documentation.
• The candidate will also monitor industry standards and best practices while providing customer support.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• The candidate must have 5+ years of experience building successful web applications in production.
• Deep knowledge of client-side architecture and experience in building large-scale, high-performance web applications is essential.
• Proficiency in web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3, is required.
• The candidate should have experience with client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, particularly AngularJS, Angular 8.x, VueJs, and ReactJS.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS is necessary.
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries like d3.js and build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt is required.
• A good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX is essential.
• Proficiency in cross-browser compatibility issues and code versioning tools like Git is required.
• The candidate should have a good understanding of scalability design principles and user experience principles.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills are necessary.
• Being a team player is essential, and knowledge of frontend testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Karma, as well as proficiency with JavaScript ES6 and Typescript, is a plus.
• Knowledge of Node.js is also a plus.
