Description:
LivePerson is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE I) for the Front-End position in Germany (Remote).
The company is a global leader in enterprise conversations, serving top brands like HSBC, Chipotle, and Virgin Media.
The role involves transforming user stories into prototypes and production code in a cross-functional team.
Responsibilities include applying UI design principles, building user-facing features for multiple browsers, and addressing performance and scalability issues.
The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience in web applications, deep knowledge of client-side architecture, and proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors.
Other requirements include experience with build tools, understanding of cross-browser compatibility, code versioning tools, scalability design principles, and frontend testing frameworks.
Knowledge of JavaScript ES6, Typescript, and Vanilla Javascript is a plus.
The position requires the candidate to be located in Germany with a valid work permit.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in Web Intensive applications.
Deep knowledge and understanding of client-side architecture.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
Understanding of asynchronous request handling, AJAX, and cross-browser compatibility.
Proficiency in code versioning tools like Git and scalability design principles.
Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma is a plus.
Familiarity with JavaScript ES6, Typescript, and Vanilla Javascript is a plus.
