Description:

  • LivePerson is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE I) for the Front-End position in Germany (Remote).
  • The company is a global leader in enterprise conversations, serving top brands like HSBC, Chipotle, and Virgin Media.
  • The role involves transforming user stories into prototypes and production code in a cross-functional team.
  • Responsibilities include applying UI design principles, building user-facing features for multiple browsers, and addressing performance and scalability issues.
  • The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience in web applications, deep knowledge of client-side architecture, and proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors.
  • Other requirements include experience with build tools, understanding of cross-browser compatibility, code versioning tools, scalability design principles, and frontend testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript ES6, Typescript, and Vanilla Javascript is a plus.
  • The position requires the candidate to be located in Germany with a valid work permit.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Web Intensive applications.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of client-side architecture.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
  • Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
  • Understanding of asynchronous request handling, AJAX, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Proficiency in code versioning tools like Git and scalability design principles.
  • Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma is a plus.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript ES6, Typescript, and Vanilla Javascript is a plus.
