Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• Vantiva is seeking front-end developers to work on designing, developing, and implementing user interfaces for the pay TV industry on set-top-boxes and consumer devices.
• The role involves contributing to building complex applications using the latest digital TV technologies that reach millions of customers.
• Candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing features requested by customers and partners.
• The position also involves updating STB platforms with newer web and embedded technologies, driving migration, and enhancing existing modules using modern JavaScript practices.
• The work can be performed remotely with effective tools and support provided by the team.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in JavaScript, particularly in developing single-page applications.
• Ability to take ownership of functionality from requirements to implementation with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Agile development, user experience design, CSS preprocessors, DevOps, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Degree in Software Engineering or relevant work experience.
