Description:

  • As a Software Engineer at Gardens Interactive, you will focus on the backend of multiplayer experiences, contributing to the technical excellence of the games.
  • You will collaborate with designers and gameplay engineers to develop and scale systems that drive social and multiplayer interactions in the games.
  • Your role involves crafting player interactions and ensuring the platform's scalability, reliability, and entertainment value.
  • Responsibilities include translating social gameplay experiences into backend solutions, partnering with Unreal engineers, ensuring multi-region, multi-platform scalability, and integrating solutions for publishing needs.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in distributed microservices development using Kotlin or Java.
  • Experience with AWS, Containerization, Git, and CI/CD.
  • Previous experience in a AAA or AA game studio.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide optimal solutions for complex problems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with stakeholders.
