Description:
As a Software Engineer at Gardens Interactive, you will focus on the backend of multiplayer experiences, contributing to the technical excellence of the games.
You will collaborate with designers and gameplay engineers to develop and scale systems that drive social and multiplayer interactions in the games.
Your role involves crafting player interactions and ensuring the platform's scalability, reliability, and entertainment value.
Responsibilities include translating social gameplay experiences into backend solutions, partnering with Unreal engineers, ensuring multi-region, multi-platform scalability, and integrating solutions for publishing needs.
Requirements:
Proficiency in distributed microservices development using Kotlin or Java.
Experience with AWS, Containerization, Git, and CI/CD.
Previous experience in a AAA or AA game studio.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide optimal solutions for complex problems.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with stakeholders.
