Remote Software Engineer, Consumer Experience (Frontend)

Description:

• The Software Engineer (Frontend) position at Gemini involves working with a cross-functional team of engineers to solve complex problems in the digital asset space.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features on the Gemini platform.
• The role requires building efficient and reusable UI components, owning the DevOps lifecycle for a product, and providing technical input for new products and features.
• Minimum qualifications include at least 3 years of experience in building consumer-facing web applications, proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript, knowledge of web best practices, and a strong understanding of UX/UI concepts.
• Preferred qualifications include expertise in testing, performance analysis, influencing product decisions with data, working with experimentation, and being a user of crypto products.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience building consumer-facing web applications at scale.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript.
• Knowledge of web best practices and staying informed about innovations in the web industry.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI concepts and a demonstrated record of design and product sensibility.
• Ability to work closely across teams and manage dependencies.
• Customer and product-focused mindset with the ability to make tradeoffs between speed and quality.
