Description:
The Software Engineer will work closely with product development teams and client-specific projects.
This role combines backend software engineering skills with a focus on data-centric tasks, supporting the creation of new data-driven products and enhancing existing ones.
The position requires flexibility to pivot based on evolving client needs, without a fixed roadmap.
You will report to the Director of Technical Architecture on the Customer Success team and collaborate with the engineering team on productizing custom-built solutions.
Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining an internal ETL tool, developing custom onboarding solutions, and maintaining backend services focused on data-intensive applications.
You will solve product and client-specific business needs through custom software, enhancements, bug fixes, or consulting.
The role involves leading mid-sized development projects from start to finish, including technical requirements gathering, data modeling, technology selection, and deployment.
You will actively participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues in upper environments, and mentor team members to foster knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development, with exposure to data engineering or related fields.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience with the Microsoft .NET technology stack (C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Web APIs, and Microsoft SQL Server) is required.
Proficiency with T-SQL and unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, etc.) is necessary.
Experience in a SaaS environment and/or start-up settings with the ability to adapt to changing priorities is preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
Bonus points for experience in digital healthcare solutions, design systems, Python, and full-stack development.
Candidates should have an advanced understanding of T-SQL (MSSQL) and data-related best practices, as well as familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, ML/NLP, Azure DevOps, and SignalR.
