Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• Snyk is a developer security platform that helps development teams find, prioritize, and fix security vulnerabilities in code, dependencies, containers, and cloud infrastructure.
• The Software Engineer position involves pair-programming to build services, using best practices and new technologies to maintain and extend existing services, and collaborating on architectural decisions for performant solutions.
• Responsibilities also include working across the full stack, participating in the development life cycle, promoting code quality through reviews, and being part of the on-call rotation.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Go, or willingness to learn.
• Commitment to code quality, constructive code reviews, and experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience collaborating on UX with design teams, proactive attitude, accountability, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Comfortable with pair programming or willing to learn.
