Remote Software engineer - Devops

Description:

• Build and expand Aura's AWS infrastructure to support the growing user base and engineering team.
• Identify repetitive tasks and create tools to automate them, simplifying complex processes.
• Develop tools and policies for engineers to access systems securely and comply with regulations.
• Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new infrastructure and tools for product features.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for the Aura platform.
• Manage and optimize cloud resources to control costs and enhance efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to system alerts promptly.
• Create and maintain disaster recovery plans for business continuity.

Requirements:

• Expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters, preferably AWS EKS.
• Experience in building and maintaining AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools, preferably Plumi.
• Familiarity with events-based architecture and platforms like SNS, SQS, EventBridge, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency in continuous integration and continuous delivery systems, with a preference for Github Actions.
• Skilled in building and maintaining Docker images.
• Proficiency in a high-level programming/scripting language, preferably Python and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of serverless architecture and tools like AWS Lambda, Serverless Framework, CloudFunctions.
• Experience with Vercel and data pipeline infrastructure like Airflow.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, with a preference for Datadog.
• Strong team collaboration skills and a passion for developing features collaboratively.
