Remote Software Engineer, EVM Node

Description:

• Conduit is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in EVM Node to contribute to building the rollup-native cloud platform that scales Ethereum.
• The company aims to address the lack of onchain compute in the crypto space, enabling high-volume transactions at low costs for improved user experiences.
• Conduit's platform has experienced significant growth, hosting major chains like Proof of Play, Zora, and Aevo, with over 200 chains across mainnet and testnet and $1B+ in total-value-locked (TVL).
• The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO to develop, maintain, and enhance the node and supporting infrastructure, including exploring Reth for potential implementation.
• The role requires a deep understanding of the EVM, experience with EVM tooling, and the ability to design, implement, and run production services.
• The ideal candidate should be passionate about the EVM, proficient in debugging issues across the stack, and capable of taking ownership of problems end-to-end.

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of the EVM and its integration with external tooling.
• Experience working on the EVM or related tooling like debuggers, block explorers, or tracers.
• Strong opinions on the ideal tooling for developers on EVM chains.
• Passion for building top-notch tooling and infrastructure around the EVM.
• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing production services.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across the stack, including networking, performance, and memory leaks.
• Willingness to take ownership of problems and acquire necessary knowledge to solve them.
