Remote Software Engineer - Frontend

Description:

• The company Admiral is seeking a mid-level or senior-level Software Engineer - Frontend to assist in expanding their platform.
• The engineer will work on mature backend and frontend systems using Go microservices and React/Javascript/Typescript client applications.
• The main mission is to create a more balanced content ecosystem on the web with improved privacy controls and fairer relationships between content creators and their audiences.
• Responsibilities include being a key member of a small team, developing frontend applications for numerous publishers, writing high-quality code, implementing new UI features, staying updated on browser ecosystem changes, and contributing to the product roadmap.
• The role aims to support content creators, local and national news, and other publishers in a less advertising-focused, more privacy-centric world.

Requirements:

• Experience in writing frontend web applications in React is a must.
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining frontend tests is required.
• Advanced knowledge of the JS & TS ecosystems, including language fundamentals, common problems, and trends, is essential.
• Familiarity with distributed backend programming or databases like MongoDB, Postgres, and Redis is a bonus.
