Description:

Mysten Labs is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to help create foundational infrastructure for decentralized protocols based on blockchain technologies.
The role involves working with product, design, and frontend engineers to determine necessary APIs, developing, shipping, and owning these APIs end-to-end.
The engineer will implement and launch features for Mysten Labs’ wallet products and collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate product vision into reality.
The position requires exploring new product areas for Sui and shaping future product directions based on insights.
The engineer will update frontend and backend-for-frontend architecture to utilize modern technologies, ensuring project stability and long-term investment.
Close collaboration with the core network team is essential to define and build new API functionality.
Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies, participating in technical discussions, and providing guidance on architectural decisions are key responsibilities.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience in developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and modern, component-based JS frameworks like React.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in building APIs that power consumer-facing applications is required.
Candidates should be comfortable diving deeper into the stack to fix bugs or add features that improve the end-to-end user experience.
The ability to navigate across multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment is essential.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills are necessary to partner effectively with teams in a fully remote environment and discuss complex topics with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with Rust and React Native is a plus, though not required.
