Remote Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

Description:

• Found is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join the Growth Product team, focusing on acquiring and onboarding new users for the company.
• The role involves quick iterations, heavy experimentation culture, and owning features end to end to impact key company metrics.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with other engineers, working with designers and product managers, determining how to build, test, deploy, and scale features, and building secure and maintainable code.
• Recent team accomplishments include updating onboarding architecture, launching draft payroll runs, managing contractors through a centralized area, and expanding CMS functionality.
• The position requires a 70-30 split of frontend to backend development.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with backend and frontend frameworks.
• Passion for learning and growing as an engineer and team member.
• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails, React, Typescript, MySQL, and Redis.
• Some experience with the technologies used by the company.
• Previous startup experience or demonstrated technical initiative.
• Interest in financial services, accounting, and/or self-employment.
• Experience running experiments and data analysis.
• Experience in a managerial, tech lead, architect, or founding engineer role (not required).

• Anticipated salary range of $145,000 - $225,000.
