Restaurant365 is a SaaS company that provides a centralized solution for accounting and back-office operations for restaurants.
The Software Engineer II will be responsible for developing and unit testing code.
Candidates should demonstrate technical aptitude and a willingness to learn new tools quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include writing high-quality code, participating in technical design discussions, and contributing to the development of Payroll and HR products.
The role involves peer code reviews, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting continuous delivery and DevOps practices.
Collaboration with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Senior Engineers is essential to understand and code to requirements.
The engineer must ensure adherence to change and release management processes and stay updated on technology trends.

Requirements:

Candidates must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
A BS/MS in Computer Science or 2+ years of equivalent experience is required.
A minimum of 3+ years in an engineering position creating code-based solutions and tools is necessary.
Proficiency in C# and .NET is required, with experience in Java considered a significant plus.
Familiarity with modern software engineering practices and technologies such as SQL and no-SQL databases, Microservices, Design Patterns, CI/CD, TDD, and Unit Testing is essential.
Experience with enterprise software, cloud platforms, and APIs is required.
Candidates should have experience with distributed version-control systems like Git and troubleshooting issues.
Knowledge of Agile development concepts is necessary, and experience with client-side frameworks like React, Angular, and Bootstrap is a huge plus.

The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $138,000, with actual salary varying based on skills, experience, and location.
