Description:

  • TreviPay is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their team in Costa Rica, working remotely.
  • The role involves creating custom, general use modules and components that extend the elements and modules of core Angular 10+.
  • Responsibilities include creating CSS code to control the web experience's look and feel, addressing color, typography, responsive layout, animation, and other visual aspects of the UI.
  • The engineer will collaborate with engineering, product management, internal stakeholders, designers, and clients to fulfill commitments.
  • The position also includes empowering and coaching teammates while fostering a fun work environment.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as an active member of a distributed development team are essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in building modern, secure, maintainable, and high-performance software is required.
  • A solid understanding of and experience integrating with APIs and external web services is necessary.
  • Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS, including CSS compilers like Less or Sass, is required.
  • Understanding of Java and SpringBoot frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and deploying to a cloud platform is necessary.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems is required.
  • Fintech experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
