Description:
TreviPay is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their team in Costa Rica, working remotely.
The role involves creating custom, general use modules and components that extend the elements and modules of core Angular 10+.
Responsibilities include creating CSS code to control the web experience's look and feel, addressing color, typography, responsive layout, animation, and other visual aspects of the UI.
The engineer will collaborate with engineering, product management, internal stakeholders, designers, and clients to fulfill commitments.
The position also includes empowering and coaching teammates while fostering a fun work environment.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as an active member of a distributed development team are essential.
Demonstrated experience in building modern, secure, maintainable, and high-performance software is required.
A solid understanding of and experience integrating with APIs and external web services is necessary.
Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS, including CSS compilers like Less or Sass, is required.
Understanding of Java and SpringBoot frameworks is a plus.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and deploying to a cloud platform is necessary.
Familiarity with distributed systems is required.
Fintech experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
