Description:

  • Spring Health is seeking a Mobile Engineer to join their team and contribute to mobile engineering initiatives.
  • The role involves designing and expanding the capabilities of the Flutter app.
  • The Mobile Engineer will collaborate with a cross-functional pod to find solutions for mental healthcare challenges.
  • Responsibilities include building high-quality UI components, contributing to the design system, and ensuring a robust and scalable codebase.
  • The successful candidate will identify areas for stack growth, collaborate with the mobile team, and make architecture decisions.
  • The role requires maintaining operational excellence, expanding testing coverage, and delivering projects on time with high quality.
  • The Mobile Engineer will mentor junior developers, participate in code reviews, and address high severity bugs promptly.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional development experience is required for this position.
  • Hands-on experience with Flutter and/or other mobile languages and concepts is essential.
  • Curiosity towards learning React web and implementing automations like CI/CD actions is expected.
  • Bonus points for experience with Ruby on Rails (Backend development) and GraphQL.
  • The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on an agile team, writing well-designed tests, and coaching engineers.
  • Embracing new challenges, participating in pair programming, and advocating for process improvements are key requirements.
